Bottom line: Chain Sentinel is an informational tool, not financial advice. Our AI models are good, but they're not perfect. Never invest based solely on our risk scores. Always do your own research.

1. Not financial advice

Chain Sentinel analyzes Solana tokens using machine learning and assigns risk scores. That's it. We don't tell you what to buy, sell, or hold. Our output is informational — it's meant to help you make better decisions, not make them for you.

Nothing on this platform should be interpreted as financial, investment, legal, or tax advice. If you need professional guidance, talk to a licensed advisor.

2. AI has limits

Our models (GNN v2 and XGBoost) achieve roughly 96% accuracy on test data. That sounds high, but it means:

  • Some legitimate tokens will be flagged as scams (false positives)
  • Some scam tokens will slip through undetected (false negatives)
  • Brand-new scam techniques may not be recognized right away
  • Models are trained on historical patterns — the future can look different

We're constantly improving, but no detection system is 100% accurate. Treat our scores as one data point among many.

3. "Legit" doesn't mean "safe"

When we label a token as "legit," we're saying it didn't trigger our scam detection patterns. That's not an endorsement. The token could still lose value, fail as a project, or turn out to be fraudulent in ways we can't detect. A clean report is not a buy signal.

4. Blockchain data is what it is

Our analysis is based on publicly available on-chain data from Solana. We can't see private information, verify who's behind a project, or predict what will happen next. Blockchain data can also be incomplete, delayed, or manipulated in ways that affect our analysis.

We pull data from third-party sources like Helius RPC and DexScreener. If their data has errors, our analysis may too. We do our best to validate, but we can't guarantee the accuracy of external sources.

5. You invest at your own risk

Cryptocurrency is volatile and speculative. You can lose everything you put in. Chain Sentinel is not liable for:

  • Financial losses from any investment decision
  • Losses from scam tokens — whether we detected them or not
  • Losses from acting on our risk scores
  • Service downtime, bugs, or delayed data
  • Any direct, indirect, or consequential damages

By using Chain Sentinel, you accept full responsibility for your own financial decisions.

6. Regulatory stuff

Crypto regulations vary by country. It's your responsibility to comply with local laws, pay applicable taxes, and make sure you're legally allowed to use services like ours. We don't provide legal or tax advice.

7. No guarantees on uptime

We aim for high availability, but we can't promise the service will always be up, error-free, or real-time. Maintenance, updates, and unexpected issues happen. Check our status page for current system health.

8. Stay safe out there

A few common-sense tips:

  • Always do your own research (DYOR) before investing
  • Never invest more than you can afford to lose
  • Cross-check information from multiple sources
  • Be skeptical of anything that sounds too good to be true
  • Use a hardware wallet for significant holdings
  • Watch out for phishing — we'll never ask for your private keys

9. Changes

We may update this disclaimer as the service evolves. Significant changes will be communicated through the dashboard or email.
