Terms of Service

Last updated: February 12, 2026

By using Chain Sentinel, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the service. It's that simple.

1. What Chain Sentinel is

Chain Sentinel is an AI-powered tool that analyzes Solana tokens and assigns risk scores based on on-chain patterns. We use machine learning models (GNN and XGBoost) to detect potential scams, rug pulls, and suspicious activity.

Important: Chain Sentinel is an informational tool, not financial advice. Our risk scores are predictions based on patterns — they can be wrong. Always do your own research before making any financial decisions.

2. Accounts

You need an account to use most features. You can sign up with email/password, Google, or a Phantom wallet. You're responsible for keeping your credentials secure. If you suspect unauthorized access, let us know immediately.

One account per person. Don't share accounts. We may suspend accounts that violate these terms.

3. Free and paid plans

We offer a free tier with limited API access (100 requests/day) and paid plans with higher limits and additional features. Paid plans are billed monthly. You can cancel anytime — your access continues until the end of the billing period.

We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice. Existing subscribers keep their current rate until the next renewal.

4. API usage

Our API is meant for legitimate use — integrating scam detection into your app, bot, or workflow. You agree not to:

  • Exceed your plan's rate limits or try to circumvent them
  • Resell API access without our permission
  • Use the API to build a competing service
  • Scrape or bulk-download our entire database
  • Send automated requests designed to overload our servers

We may throttle or suspend access if we detect abuse.

5. Accuracy and limitations

Our models are good — 96% accuracy on test data — but they're not perfect. Here's what you should know:

  • False positives happen. A token flagged as "scam" might be legitimate.
  • False negatives happen too. A token marked "legit" could still be a scam.
  • Our models are trained on historical data and may not catch entirely new scam patterns immediately.
  • Blockchain data can be incomplete or delayed.

We continuously improve our models, but we cannot guarantee 100% accuracy.

6. Your content

If you submit data to Chain Sentinel (like wallet addresses for watchlists), you retain ownership of that data. You grant us a license to use it for providing the service. We won't use your private data for anything else.

7. Intellectual property

Chain Sentinel, our models, algorithms, website design, and documentation are our intellectual property. You may use the service as intended, but you may not copy, reverse-engineer, or redistribute our technology.

8. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • Chain Sentinel is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind.
  • We are not liable for financial losses resulting from reliance on our risk scores.
  • We are not liable for service interruptions, data loss, or security breaches beyond our reasonable control.
  • Our total liability is limited to the amount you've paid us in the last 12 months.

9. Termination

You can delete your account at any time. We can suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, abuse the service, or engage in illegal activity. We'll try to give notice when possible, but reserve the right to act immediately if necessary.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Significant changes will be communicated via email or dashboard notification at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use after changes means you accept the new terms.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands, where our servers are located. Any disputes will be resolved in Dutch courts, unless local law requires otherwise.
